EDUCATIONAL CONSORTIUM INSTITUTE(eci)
Educational Consortium Institute (ECI) is a California nonprofit educational organization founded to provide learning opportunities for students ages 14 to 18 from around the world to advance their English skills, experience American culture and study in a safe and nurturing environment. Now we also provide English language studies and other educational opportunities for adults as well (see below).

ECI offers ESL (English as a Second Language) programs for high school students who want to improve their language skills and English language test scores. ECI can also design custom programs for schools and groups interested in summer time programs. On-site programs may be conducted at your school site in your country under the In-Country Programs. ECI is a California nonprofit educational organization founded to provide opportunities for students ages 14 to 18 from around the world to advance their English skills and experience American culture in a safe a nurturing environment.

ECI also provides assistance to international adult students wanting to study and learn English and continue on in regular United States university and college degree and certificate programs here in many California locations as well as locations across the US.

ECI is approved by the United States Department of State to issue DS2019 Forms for the J-1 Visa and I-20 Forms for the F-1 Visa which assists students students in obtaining their American visa. ECI is a J-1 issuing agency for public schools and provides sponsorship and guardianship services for students wanting to attend private schoolson a F-1 visa. There are no guarantees regarding visas, however, as each international student's situation is unique.

Summer English Intensive 2008 For Teenagers at Our
Campus on the Pacific Ocean

Running from mid-June to mid-August, our intensive program is for serious international students who want to focus on improving their reading, writing, speaking, and  TOEFL score. Participants reside in the school dormitories and attend classes and educational outings from early morning through the afternoon Monday through Friday.

While the summer program is "open enrollment" for from 1-10 weeks, most students choose a minimum of two weeks while many enter the 4 or 5-Week or 10-Week program format.

Program cost is $775 per week. AVENTURAS LANGUAGES

Activities

ECI conducts cross-cultural events. These events are designed to give all who participate an opportunity to share different aspects of their cultures with one another. ECI plans and chaperones educational tours based on the interests of the group. All activities are well planned and supervised by senior ECI staff.

ECI is located in the Monterey Bay Area which is known for its exceptional beauty, recreational opportunities, wonderful year-round weather and safety.

The Monterey Bay Area is near Monterey and Santa Cruz, Californa and is 100 kilometers south of San Francisco, 60 kilometers south of San Jose (Silicon Valley) and 500 kilometers north of the Los Angeles/San Diego area.
