AVENTURAS: Educational Travel Adventures is the Global Representative for EXPERIENCIA, Centro de Intercambio Bilingue y Cultural, A.C. We handle all of the details and registration. We have studied at the school extensively ourselves. We charge no additional fees, except to those accompanying us on our own group trips to Cuernavaca. EXPERIENCIA SPANISH LANGUAGE IMMERSION SCHOOL has operated continuously for over 26 years providing high quality Spanish immersion learning in the context of Mexican and Latin culture. Experiencia was founded in 1977 by Arturo Ballinas, as one of the first Cuernavaca language schools, with the goal to offer a first-class Spanish program and an interesting extracurricular program. With our efficient methods, pleasant study atmosphere, reasonable costs and proximity to the Mexico City airport we have much to offer serious and vacationing students. We are located just and hour and a half south of Mexico City making access easy for international students. Close enough, yet far enough away! Our Tepoztlán Campus offers a location for those interested in a more rural traditional village atmosphere. *** Our Spanish immersion language classes begin every Monday throughout the year with instruction between 9am and 2pm, and also includes two hours of Learning Integration Activies in Spanish Monday-Friday from 6-8pm (optional) and Saturday Excursions to ancient pyramids, museums and recreational sites are included in the price of basic tuition (Spanish speaking guide and transportion provided). The morning Spanish class focuses on more structured study and learning. The afternoon portion of the Spanish classes serves to integrate Spanish language learning in the context of more spontaneous conversational use. The Spanish language Learning Integration Activities in the evenings included in the price of basic tuition are: Lectures; cultural activities including Mexican and salsa dance classes; twice weekly language and cultural intercambios with Mexican students learning English at the school. Mexican family homestays are available and further integrate your study and learning of both the Spanish language and the Mexican and Latin culture during your study abroad experience. The goal of the school is to provide structured and unstructured learning experiences designed for serious study that are presented in a pleasant setting and in an enjoyable atmosphere of learning with students from around the globe.
