Charley,

Two weeks at Solexico was a FABULOUS experience. Those teachers are SO dedicated, I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the teaching and the program. I have taught students for 30 yrs and I have taught teachers how to teach for about 10 of those years and so I really mean what I say, when I say they were GREAT teachers at a GREAT program! As a middle aged woman travelling alone to Puerta Vallarta, I have to say that I never felt unsafe for any of the time. The area around the school and where I stayed was very safe. I took the pblic bus everyday and felt very much at home. The weather was beautiful. Sometimes we needed to put the ceiling fan on in the classroom, but with that it was very comfortable.
~Thanks, Abby Mandel, Falls Church, Virginia ~unsolicited email, June 2010

We have two summer Spanish courses especially for children each summer. This summer, this will run in two blocks of two weeks each. This courses run in the mornings from 9-12, Monday through Friday, to coincide with adults classes and occur on the same campus so that your children are very close by. There are three age groups: 6-9. 10-12 and 13-15. The cost is $159 per week plus our registration fee. Those teenagers  ages 16/17 wanting Spanish language classes may join our adult classes.

"Charley Hodson (Aventuras Languages),

Just a quick note to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Solexico Spanish Immersion school in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico . The staff was very professional and the students in my group (Advanced) were all at the same level. The workbook was well done and the pace appropriate for the group.

Interesting.. was the fact that other than myself there was only 2 other Americans. The rest were European and most of them Swiss. They spoke English but it promoted the group to stay in Spanish even during the breaks.

Thanks for arranging this.

Sincerely, Diana Cook" December 2006

Our Language and Cultural Centers in culturally rich Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, in Playa del Carmen, south of Cancun on the Mexican Riviera, and  now in Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific Coast town provide students with the best opportunity to learn Spanish in a short period of time while being immersed in the Mexican culture. Our staff of professional Mexican teachers and our effective teaching methods combined with our friendly approach to teaching Spanish, helps maximize the student’s learning capabilities and makes learning a truly enjoyable experience.

Solexico Puerto Vallarta is located one block from the Pacific Ocean in the heart of downtown (Central District) at the north end of the Malecon walkway along the sea and near Old Vallarta (Vallarta Viejo, Vallarta Romantica). Surrounded by Vallarta's beautiful colonial buildings and charming city streets, our campus is also near restaurants, cafes, stores and night spots. The municipal market is nearby on the Rio Cuale.

Our building show off the typical architecture of Puerto Vallarta and, like our other campuses, has a large café in the main entrance that serves as a meeting point for students during the breaks.

Solexico´s offices and classrooms are located on the second floor of the building and are decorated in the same Vallarta style as the exterior. The air-conditioned top floor provides the perfect space for orientation, salsa classes and monthly fiestas. There is also a conference room in which movies in Spanish and cultural lectures will be given.
