These are full intensive Spanish language immersion schools also offering family homestays and other accommodations as well as small group classes, private classes, special emphasis professional use classes and cultural activities.

CRLA: COSTA RICA LANGUAGE ACADEMY: In San Jose in the lovely university area, great option for those who love Salsa Dancing! Spanish immersion in the Central Valley region of Costa Rica: The Costa Rica language Academy is a favorite for our students that love Salsa Dancing with daily weekday salsa dance classes.

Learn to dance like a Latin with our daily dance lessons.

We teach Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bolero and the latest Latin Dance Rhythms. As a student of Spanish (with or without Homestay) you may participate in as many dance classes as you wish at no additional charge. We offer 2 hours of dance classes every afternoon, after your Spanish classes. Our patient and experienced instructors will help you discover the joy and fun of Latin dance. This is a great way to exercise, meet friends and learn more about Costa Rican culture.

All the above prices include Spanish classes, class materials, Latin dance, cooking & conversation classes, airport transportation and home stay (private room, bathroom, breakfast, dinner and laundry). The cultural classes take place outside of regular class hours and are not mandatory, but recommended.

** Four-week program includes 2 one-day excursions or 1 excursion & gym membership.

PAYMENT: We accept travelers’ checks, dollars, Costa Rican colones and credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, and American Express).

All fees must be paid upon arrival at the academy.

EXTRA HOME STAY

If students wish to stay additional days with the host family before or after their program the cost is: $18.50/day; $129.50/week

CLASSES BY THE HOUR (without homestay)

If the student is not interested in a home stay program, we also offer classes by the hour in small groups or individually.
