ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR: José is our friend and Spanish instructor since 1999. AVENTURAS LANGUAGES arranges live Spanish classes with him. These are flexible student directed classes with consultation and support from José. José is a well-educated man with  a law degree with over 25 years of teaching experience, teaching both Spanish and English in a high school setting and at one of the best Cuernavaca Spanish language immersion schools. He is intelligent, has a great sense of humor, quickly relaxing student language learning anxieties in a structured yet informal setting. Dear Charley,  Your service (Aventuras Languages) worked perfectly. I very much appreciate the simple, straightforward manner in which you connected us with José. A few emails and we were all set to go.

We had no trouble connecting with Jose in Ixtapa. Jose is a wonderful teacher in many things, but especially in Spanish. He was so flexible in letting us tailor our learning time. This allowed us to enjoy our vacation, go to the beach, etc., and still have quality class time with Jose. Though we studied in our hotel on occasion, often he found other excellent venues for class time, such as local restaurants, where we had a chance to practice our Spanish with people.

Jose knew all the most interesting musicians, artists that were only to happy to chat in Spanish or English. He also knew where to go for interesting sites, such as 'los cocodrillos' at Playa Linda. The kids loved this. My wife and children all say the loved working with him. When we go back to Mexico, we hope to see and learn more from him.
